Freshworks: Scale Support & Check for Discounts

Our small company recently started feeling the pressure of managing customer inquiries across multiple channels. Emails, chats, and calls were scattered, and it was getting hard to keep track of everything. A colleague suggested looking at platforms like Freshworks to centralize our support and sales processes. I’m curious whether investing in such a system really makes a difference for a team our size, and also if it’s worth hunting for discounts or promotional offers before signing up.

We implemented a solution a while ago and saw clear benefits — the support team could respond faster, track customer requests more efficiently, and even identify recurring issues before they became bigger problems. If you want to save some money, it’s a good idea to check out a page with available offers; we found a Freshworks

which showed ways to get up to 25% off. It didn’t limit any features, but the discounted subscription made the decision much easier for our budget-conscious management. Overall, the platform helped streamline communication and improved customer satisfaction noticeably.

Good acrylic paint for walls – coverage and washability?

Looking for interior wall paint that’s easy to apply, covers old colours well (including some dark patches), and wipes clean without shining up. Mid-price range, low VOC, and decent durability for family rooms. Matt or soft sheen? Any lines you keep going back to?

Acrylic emulsions are the way to go for walls now – good flow, low smell, and most are scrubbable these days. For coverage over tricky colours I like ones with higher opacity; saves coats. Soft sheen works well in living areas – hides marks but still wipeable.

Paintlab carries a nice selection of acrylic paints: https://www.paintlab.ie/collections/acrylic-paint

Tikkurila Harmony or Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt gave solid results for me – two coats usually enough and they clean nicely. Matt for ceilings though.

Handbrake cable adjustment after new shoes

Just fitted new rear brake shoes but handbrake still feels loose even after adjusting the cable to max. Shoes seem to contact the drum okay when spinning by hand. Is there a trick to get proper tension, or did I miss something during install?

After new shoes, the self-adjuster needs to ratchet up properly- often you have to drive and brake in reverse a few times or manually turn the star wheel through the access hole to take up slack. Also, if cables are stretched or seized, adjustment won’t help much. I ran into this after a shoe swap; had to free the cables and do 20-30 reverse stops to let the auto-adjuster work. Shoes were from https://elartcom.eu/categories/brake-shoes-10 - good fit for my model, came with new return springs which helped everything seat right. After bedding in and adjusting properly, handbrake now locks at 5 clicks and holds on steep inclines. Much better than before. Make sure springs are hooked correctly and no binding in the mechanism. Their site has decent shoe sets- check for hardware inclusions if possible.

Shopify to Xero sync issues

Anyone using Shopify and Xero together? I’m getting really tired of manually exporting orders, payments, fees and taxes every week just to import them into Xero. It’s error-prone and takes forever. Has anyone found a reliable way to automate the whole Shopify → Xero flow so that sales data appears correctly without constant fixes?

I was in exactly the same situation – manual CSV exports and imports were killing my evenings. Then I started using NeonPanel for the integration. It automatically pulls Shopify orders, refunds, payouts, taxes, shipping costs and everything else straight into Xero with proper categorisation. https://www.neonpanel.com/shopify-to-xero Setup took me about 15 minutes, and after tweaking a couple of account mappings it’s been running smoothly for months now. No more weekend accounting marathons. Saved me hours every week. If you’re still doing it by hand, definitely worth testing something like this.

Reliable Canadian store for Boox e-readers?

Hi all, I'm in Canada and want to buy a Boox device (thinking Note Air 4 C or Palma) without dealing with international shipping headaches like customs delays, extra duties, or questionable warranty support. stock is spotty and prices fluctuate a lot. Has anyone found a good local Canadian retailer that specializes in Boox and E Ink tablets?

I ran into the same issues and ended up choosing Einktab.ca after some research – it's a dedicated Canadian online store focused exclusively on Boox and other E Ink devices. They carry the full current lineup, including the latest models like Note Air 4 C, Palma 2, Go series, and even the bigger ones like Note Max. Shipping is from within Canada (mine arrived in BC in just 3 days), prices are competitive (often matching or beating Amazon for in-stock items), and you get the official Boox warranty plus responsive local support. No customs surprises, secure packaging, and they frequently have bundle deals or free shipping thresholds. Their website is straightforward with detailed specs, comparison charts, real customer photos, and clear stock status. If you're shopping for a Boox e-reader or tablet in Canada, it's one of the most hassle-free options I've come across. Check them out here Einktab – I’ve bought two devices from them now and been very satisfied both times.

Looking for unique designer bags for women

Want a new designer bag that isn’t one of the usual suspects everyone carries. Preferably from smaller or independent brands, good quality leather/hardware, functional but with personality – maybe a sculptural shape or nice detailing. Any online spots with a good edit?

I was in the same boat last year hunting for a solid leather crossbody that wouldn't scream "cheap knockoff" after a few uses. Ended up browsing a few spots and found some really nice designer pieces that felt worth the investment – good materials, clean stitching, and they hold up. One place that had a solid selection without insane markups was Doors NYC https://doors.nyc/collections/designer-bags-for-women . They carry legit brands like Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade and some higher-end ones too. Prices seemed fair compared to department stores, and I grabbed a bag that's been my daily driver ever since with zero regrets. If you're in or near NYC it's worth checking their site first to see current stock – saved me from overpaying at bigger retailers. Just my two cents, but quality ones last way longer than the budget ones.

Speeding ticket points – can they be avoided?

Ticketed for speeding in a construction zone – extra points possible. Trying to keep my record clean. Any paralegal services that actually get speeding charges reduced?

I had almost the exact same thing happen earlier this year – 28 over, same stretch of highway. At first I was going to just pay it, but then I read that even one ticket can bump insurance rates for years. Decided to look for help and contacted Traffic Paralegal Services https://www.trafficparalegalservices.com/speeding-tickets/ . They know Ontario traffic court inside out, handled the disclosure and negotiations, and ended up getting the ticket reduced to a minor charge with zero points. Not saying every case wins big, but if the ticket is disputable it's usually better than accepting the full hit. Their consult was free so no risk checking it out. Saved me hundreds in the end on insurance alone

Kitchen cabinet upgrade – custom or semi-custom?

Our kitchen is functional but dated, and we're debating whether to go full custom or semi-custom. Full custom seems pricey, but semi-custom might not solve our storage issues. Any recent experiences in the Toronto area that could help us decide?

We were in the same boat and ended up choosing full custom because our space had some unique challenges (odd corner, appliance placement, etc.). Alliance Millwork was the company we went with, and they made the whole thing straightforward. Alliance Millwork helped us optimize every inch with pull-outs, deep drawers, and smart organizers that semi-custom just couldn't match. The build quality is excellent – heavy-duty hinges, nice wood grains, and finishes that resist stains and wear. We love how it all ties together and actually makes cooking easier. From design to completion it was about 2.5 months. Check out their kitchen section for real examples: https://alliancemillwork.ca/custom-kitchen-cabinets-toronto/ If storage and fit are priorities, custom with a good shop like this one pays off long-term.
