Kitchen cabinet upgrade – custom or semi-custom?
Our kitchen is functional but dated, and we're debating whether to go full custom or semi-custom. Full custom seems pricey, but semi-custom might not solve our storage issues. Any recent experiences in the Toronto area that could help us decide?

We were in the same boat and ended up choosing full custom because our space had some unique challenges (odd corner, appliance placement, etc.). Alliance Millwork was the company we went with, and they made the whole thing straightforward. Alliance Millwork helped us optimize every inch with pull-outs, deep drawers, and smart organizers that semi-custom just couldn't match. The build quality is excellent – heavy-duty hinges, nice wood grains, and finishes that resist stains and wear. We love how it all ties together and actually makes cooking easier. From design to completion it was about 2.5 months.
